Microsoft 365 Updates – More Than Word, Excel and Outlook.
Over the last 10 years Microsoft Office has been on a path of constant change and enhancements. Originally Office was a program you added to your computer, and you used it for Word, Excel and Outlook (and maybe PowerPoint). “Office” became “Office 365” and with it came a subscription of “online/cloud” versions.
Microsoft has continued to focus on solutions that do not require a PC. You can now have Office applications on your iPhone, iPad, Android phone and Android tablets. You can also purchase a subscription which is browser only and can be used from any device with internet connection.
During the next 2 to 3 months Microsoft are rebranding from “Office App” to “Microsoft 365 App”.
